125th Anniversary, Calvary Catholic Cemetery - Date: November 2nd & 3rd, 2007
Calvary Catholic Cemetery will celebrate its 125th anniversary. The event will begin with a blessing, followed by a historical presentation. A self-guided memorial walking tour is planned. Refreshments will be served and the event is free to you and your entire family. We believe that you and your loved ones who are interred at Calvary are all part of our family. Your stories are part of our unique history. The memorial walking tour is a chance for you to share your stories with the community. We will post memories that you share with us on your loved one’s burial site. Help us to celebrate, “History is Alive at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.” You are encouraged to write down a special story or memory about someone buried at Calvary and mail to: Attn: Frances Carrasco-Leyerle, Calvary Cemetery 2655 Madden Ave. San Jose, CA 95116 or email: carrasco@dosj.org.
