Cemetery Grounds and Mausoleums
Cemetery grounds are open every day of the year. Parking is available along all paved roads in the cemetery, except where otherwise posted.
7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (November through February)

Appointments
To avoid unnecessary waiting, please telephone for an appointment before coming to the cemetery office; whether making funeral arrangements, pre-need arrangements, or selecting a memorial.
Monday - Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: Office Closed
BURIAL HOURS
Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.*
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.* (additional fees will apply)
Sunday: No burials

HISTORY & FACILITIES
Gate of Heaven Cemetery was established in 1971 to fulfill the needs of the Catholic communities in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Located just off Foothill Expressway and Highway 280, it is conveniently reached by freeway from most of the Bay Area. Gate of Heaven Cemetery consists of over 50 acres in the rolling hills above Los Altos.
Gate of Heaven offers a variety of burial locations, including spaces for cremated remains, indoor and outdoor crypts, in-ground burial for individuals, couples, and families, as well as a special section for Military Veterans.
Our non-commissioned staff is committed to serving you with dignity and care. Cemetery Family Service Counselors are available six days a week to help you make arrangements when a death occurs or to assist you with planning in advance for your own services.

Mass in memory of all the faithful departed is held every second Saturday of the month in All Saints Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
